As part of the country's largest technology event, IT Arena in Lviv, a partner of the conference FAVBET Tech joined the expert meetup "AI-Ready Talents: How to Build the Next Generation of Tech Professionals for the AI Era".

The discussion focused on how the Ukrainian IT industry can quickly adapt the labor market and education to the rapid development of artificial intelligence and form a pool of specialists ready to work with AI technologies. 

Participants included developers, data scientists, ML engineers, DevOps, and product tech leaders. Speakers included Artem Skrypnyk (FAVBET Tech), Maxim Balaniuk (Metinvest Digital), Alexander Krakovetsky (DevRain), and Ilya Kabachinsky (Scroll.media). The format was focused on practical solutions for career development in the AI era, in particular, combining strong hard skills with AI-first thinking.

During the meetup, participants also discussed the emergence of new roles such as AI Product Engineer or AI Ops and the integration of AI tools into the tech stack of companies. They also talked about resources for training new trainees, as well as participation in open-source AI projects for career growth.

Overall, the meeting was an effective platform for business and IT community to dialog about the specific steps needed to prepare the industry for a new reality where AI plays a central role.
