Helping doctors and the military: a selection of promising Ukrainian startups
An AI platform for neurosurgeons, an app for hyper-personalized meditation, and a system that automatically guides an FPV drone to its target. These are some of the startups that were highly praised at the IT Arena conference. During the conference, a competition was traditionally organized, and the winners received funds for development: from five to 15 thousand dollars. Below, we tell you more about these companies.
eXtra Vision - a platform for planning complex operations ($15,000)
The creators of an app that scans CT/MRI scans and turns the image into a 3D model. It does this with the help of artificial intelligence. This model is then uploaded to augmented reality glasses, which can be used by a doctor to plan an operation.
The startup was co-founded by doctors Vladyslav Kalyuzhka, Mykyta Markevych, and Mark Glukhenkyi. They were joined by Unity developers, engineers, and designers. Development started more than a year ago when the doctors received HoloLens AR glasses.
