Google has updated the letter G in its logo. Now, instead of four separate colored sections, the logo uses a gradient. This is noticeable on the Google app icon on iOS and Android, writes The Verge.

The tech giant last updated its logo in 2015. Then Google abandoned the serif version and used the more restrained Product Sans font.

The letter G in the logo still had four colored sections. The company now uses a gradient that matches the gradient of Gemini, another of the company's products, 9to5google reports. The main Google logo remains unchanged for now.
