Davos organizers to launch 2nd GovTech hub in Kyiv to back Ukraine's digital development

Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov has signed an agreement to open the world's second GovTech center in Kyiv. 

The official inked the deal with World Economic Forum President Børge Brende and Managing Director Jeremy Jurgens on the sidelines of the Davos summit.

The GovTech center will deal with the digital transformation of the government, the development of electronic governance and digital skills. Thanks to its activities, Ukrainian startups and innovators will be able to exchange experience with foreign partners and accelerate digital reforms in Ukraine.

The first such GovTech hub is already in development in Berlin. 

"This proves that international partners highly value the development of innovations and technologies in Ukraine. We are gradually becoming global leaders in the digital transformation of governments and states," Fedorov said in a Telegram post.
