The Ministry of Digital Transformation has launched a joint initiative with Nvidia. They will work together on the Diia AI LLM

Ukraine has launched a new joint initiative with Nvidia. Together, they will build sovereign artificial intelligence, , said Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.

The first joint project will be the development of the Diia AI LLM, a sovereign language model adapted to Ukrainian legislation and public services. Fedorov writes that all artificial intelligence services in the Diia ecosystem will be powered by it. In particular, the AI assistant already presented on the portal, the future assistant in the mobile application, and internal solutions for the government.

Key areas of the initiative:

• support in creating a national infrastructure based on Nvidia's AI infrastructure;
• development of AI talent and education;
• joint R&D projects;
• support for the startup ecosystem.

Ukraine will also get access to Nvidia's specialized software stack, technical expertise, advice and technical support from the Nvidia team.
