Esports broadcasts in Ukraine garnered over 13 million hours of viewing

Esports Charts analytical agency has summarized the results of Ukrainian-language esports broadcasts for the first half of 2025. The results were shared with LIGA.net .
In the first six months of 2025, the total time spent watching Ukrainian-language broadcasts exceeded 13.1 million hours, which is 44.2% more than in the same period in 2024.
What Ukrainians watch
Counter-Strike 2 remains the main game, accounting for about 72% of all views, while Dota 2's share is 26.7%.
A significant contribution to the popularity was made by the performances of the Natus Vincere (NAVI) team, whose matches have garnered more than 2.6 million hours of viewing.
The most popular tournament was IEM Katowice 2025 with a peak audience of over 114 thousand viewers at a time. This figure is lower than the record of 2024 – 137,886 viewers at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024.

June was the busiest month in terms of views, thanks to BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.
Twitch remains the #1 platform for Ukrainian-language broadcasts with a share of about 66%, while YouTube increases its share to 33.9%.
In Ukraine, charity showdowns involving the military, streamers, and famous artists are becoming increasingly popular, often attracting a larger audience than regular local competitions.
- In April, Esports Charts published the top ten Ukrainian esports players who earned the most money from tournaments. The first place was taken by a Ukrainian from Bucha who played against Russians.
- It is worth reminding that in 2024, Ukrainian NAVI defeated MOUZ in the CS2 final with a score of 3:1, winning the IEM Rio title and participation in IEM Katowice 2025.
