Ukrainians bought more than 7000 cars from China in 2025
Chinese electric cars continue to gain popularity among Ukrainian buyers

During the first half of 2025, Ukrainians purchased 7318 cars imported from China, reports Ukravtoprom Association. This is 0.4% more than in the same period last year.
Of the total number of cars, 5963 were new, which is 12% more than in the first half of 2024. 1355 used cars were purchased from China, which is 31% less than last year.
A feature of this year is the high percentage of electric vehicles among Chinese cars – their share is 85%.

Chinese electric cars continue to gain popularity among Ukrainian buyers, taking up more and more market share.
- As a reminder, Nissan has decided to close its flagship plant in Japan due to financial problems. The 64-year-old plant in Oppama will cease production by March 2028.
- And the new Huawei Stelato S9T electric station wagon will be released this fall. In China, station wagons have always been a niche segment.
