X, ChatGPT and Ukrainian websites stopped working due to Cloudflare failure
Cloudflare, which provides the infrastructure for millions of websites, experienced a global outage. As a result, X, ChatGPT, Canva, Uber Eats, PayPal, League of Legends, Valorant, and Ukrainian services stopped working. This was reported by Windows Central.
Users complain about errors like "Please unblock challenges.cloudflare.com to proceed", and some sites, such as OpenAI, do not open at all. Even the site where Cloudflare displays information about failures looks broken – there is no design or styles, just plain text.
The failure also affected Ukrainian resources. The websites of We Are Ukraine, Channel 24, TSN, Censor.NET, Glavred.info, Defense Express, DeepState, Rozetka, Sweet TV and others were not opening.
The cause of the failure in Cloudflare is not yet known. It is only known that at the same time, the company is scheduled to perform maintenance at its data center in Santiago, Chile. It is not known whether this is related to the outage. Cloudflare says it is "investigating the issue".
In October, Amazon Web Services (AWS) gradually restored after a global outage that disrupted popular websites and applications for several hours. on October 16, monobank app stopped working due to a technical failure.
