Amazon's cloud services have begun to resume operations after a large-scale failure

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is gradually resuming operations after a global outage that disrupted popular websites and applications for several hours on Monday. This was reported by ,, Reuters.
During the incident, Snapchat, Reddit, Roblox, Venmo, as well as Amazon's own services – Prime Video, Alexa, and the company's online store – were unavailable. The problems were observed not only in the United States, but also in the UK, where Lloyds Bank, Bank of Scotland, Vodafone, BT, and the HMRC website were affected .
In total, according to Downdetector, more than 4 million users have reported outages in services using AWS infrastructure. AWS reports that most services are now up and running, although the technical team is still addressing the consequences of the outage.
The software engineer, a cybersecurity expert and researcher at the Institute of Engineering and Technology, said the problem may have originated in one of the network modules that manage the databases. Full recovery is expected in the near future.
