President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy wants to create an analog of Silicon Valley in Crimea, announced Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister for Digital Transformation, in an interview for Vector.

According to Fedorov, the president has a vision to make Crimea an innovation center similar to the world-famous Silicon Valley. The project will provide for the creation of a super-technological university, where students and scientists will be able to engage in advanced research and development, as well as companies that will actively work in this region all year round.

The Minister of Digital Transformation also added that he personally would like to see all of Ukraine as one big Silicon Valley. To achieve such results, it is necessary to develop an appropriate policy that will stimulate the innovative development of the country, as well as ensure security and infrastructural development.

The fate of such a project in Crimea can open many opportunities for the development of high technologies, science, and innovation in Ukraine.
