During the state visit of US President Donald Trump to the UK, key figures from Silicon Valley gathered at an official banquet. This was reported by The New York Times.

Among the guests were Apple CEO Tim Cook, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, Alphabet and Google CEO Ruth Porath, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, OpenAI founder Sam Altman, and venture capitalist and White House advisor on artificial intelligence and cryptocurrencies David Sachs.

Representatives of the British royal family included King Charles III and Queen Camilla, Prince William and Princess Catherine, Princess Anne with her husband, Vice Admiral Tim Lawrence, as well as Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester and Duchess Birgitte.

Among the politicians and civil servants present were US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, their daughter Tiffany Trump and her husband Michael Boulus, prime Minister of the United Kingdom Keir Starmer with his wife, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, US Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent, CIA Director John Ratcliffe and MI6 Director Sir Richard Moore.

As a reminder, the UK and the US have signed a $42 billion technology deal with well-known American companies. And recently, Microsoft, Google, and OpenAI supported Melania Trump's AI initiative.
