Users of Volvo vehicles in the Russian Federation encountered problems with the operation of the mobile application, which is responsible for vehicle diagnostics and remote control, reports BFM.
This situation arose after the European company shut down the Volvo Vida service for Russian dealers in September. Since then, some features of the Volvo On Call app have also stopped working for users, including remote engine start and climate control.
Now, drivers have to go to service centers to resolve issues that previously could be easily resolved through the app.
Service centers have already started advising Volvo owners not to lose physical keys, as it will be more difficult to reprogram them without a working application.
