The Airbnb housing rental service does not block Ukrainians based on citizenship, the company's communications service informed LIGA.net.

According to Airbnb spokeswoman Katharina-Luise Kittler, the company does not block Ukrainians' access to the service, has suspended all operations in Russia and Belarus, and does not have a Russian office. "The support service addresses users in the priority language. If the user has chosen Russian, the support service will contact him in Russian. If in Ukrainian, then in Ukrainian," Kittler said.

In 2022-2024, some Ukrainian users were blocked by Airbnb after adding a photo of a Ukrainian passport. The support service also addressed Ukrainians in Russian.
